We still know them well from the restoration of the public school in Gorkha, the Scouts and Guides St.-Bavo Eversel (Belgium) with their action program "together for Nepal". After the earthquakes in Nepal, they collected money in Belgium for years to give the damaged buildings a facelift. The 30 hands for Nepal are back in Thali. Every summer they spent their 'holiday' working and sweating for the Thali school. Also this year. We are glad to show some pictures of their ongoing work, making stairs to the new construction site where in 2020 the new Secondary school will open.

Cheese pastry, bacon wrapped sausage rolls and lemon meringue cupcakes ..plus some homemade damson jam thrown in for good measure. These are just examples of what the folks at Electrosonic in the UK can expect, freshly baked by our representative Faye Mills. For a donation they support a wonderful cause for the charity HCH Nepal. Faye will visit Nepal this year two times and also volunteers in our projects. Great work, Dhanybhad!  

After the volunteer group from Chrisko returned to the Netherlands, the construction work for the Thali primary school is ongoing. We like to give a short update about the progress. Although a lot of work for the basement has been done, also our financial resources are drying up. We therefore urge anybody who symphatizes with this project, to make a (small) donation to keep the construction running. Next year, in 2017 we also will raise the funding for the upper floor of the school, since more parents of the poor Thali community are now able to sent their children to this school. This wee...
