Himalayan Care Hands also supports a Home for blind children in Goldhunga, Kathmandu, by regular distributing (educational) materials to the 11 visually impaired students. Together with the Lion Club Himalaya we donated 6000 pieces of Braille copy, 13 small bags containing hygiene kits, and 1 Printing machine. From Belgian sponsors we got a dream come true for them: a music installation for singing and dancing.
Binod Kafle runs the house as manager, being himself blind and he is also chairperson of the Nepal Integrated Blind Development Association.
